 This site offers the services of solo pipers up to a full pipes & drums marching band, many of whom, perform internationally for civil and corporate events, as well as locally for functions such as weddings and funerals.

Bagpipers In The United Kingdom

A Surrey based piper who plays at weddings, corporate events and funerals all over London, the south and south east.

He has been on 'Top Of The Pops' and other TV programs during his career as well as travelling around the world performing with pipe bands.

Piper Identity Code;HP01

This bagpiper was born into a family with a long piping heritage in Glen Lyon in the Scottish Highlands.  He and his brother were both members of The Scots Guards pipers, as was their father before them.

 After leaving The Scots Guards, he was invited to play with them once again in front of H.M. The Queen for the Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2002 and was featured on Sky News.

He is a currently member of the Surrey Pipe Band and plays at civil and corporate events as well as many weddings in London and the south. Tartans available for him to wear are the Royal Stewart and the MacMillan, which is his family tartan.

Piper Identity Code; HP02

Pipe Major HP03 is a holder of the British army Pipe Major's Certificate (with a rare AA pass) in addition to an advanced Royal Scottish Pipe Band Certificate and a College of Piping Teaching Certificate.
He served with the Scots Guards for 17 years, (5 years as Pipe Major) during which time he was the Silver medallist in the1984 Gillies Cup and Oban competitions.

As a professional piper today he teaches at many of the South of England's top Public Schools, whilst serving as Pipe Major in: British Airways Pipe Band, The Scottish Piping Society of London and a former Pipe Major with the Surrey Pipe Band.

Piper Identity Code; HP03

HP04 is currently the Pipe Major of the Reading Scottish Pipe Band and has been piping since the age of 12.  He has played all over Europe and in Japan.  He has also performed at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and in many theatres across the South of England, including The Albert Hall.

His piping can be seen in the British Hit Comedy Film, Four Weddings and a Funeral and he has played on two occasions for the Royal Family.

Very experienced piper that has performed all over the world. He spent 26 years in the armed forces and has played at the Edinburgh Tattoo, For Her Majesty The Queen and for Queen Mother on her 100th Birthday.

This piper would love to bring his experience and knowledge to your event and play at your wedding, corporate event, birthday or whatever occasion you require him for.

Based in North Surrey , he is in easy reach of all areas of London, the South and South East.

Piper Identity Code; HP05

After receiving a good grounding in piping from the Late Willie Grant, HP06  played with the Lonach Pipe Band. On leaving school, he joined the Scots Guards. After seeing the world as a piper for 12 years, decided to settle down, and become a fireman in London.
He has played with British Caledonian Airways Pipe Band, British Airways Pipe Band, The City of London Blue Bonnets Pipe Band, Dan Air Pipe Band and Harwich and District Pipe Band. He rose to Pipe Major for the British Airways Pipe Band.
He is currently Pipe sergeant and tutor to the London Irish Rifles Pipe Band and tutors the Gatwick Caledonian Pipe Band. HP06 wears several tartans including Royal Stewart and Ancient Caledonian.

A traditional Scottish Piper based in Scotland, but who travels all over the UK and abroad, proudly performing his music and Scottish routes.

He plays for all types of event including weddings, civic events, funerals, award ceremonies, corporate functions and more.

He can also pipe as part of a duo with a drummer or Clarsach player.

A very experienced military piper, having spent 22 years service in The Black Watch. He has travelled the world playing the pipes.

He now specialises in Weddings, Funerals, Corporate and Civil Functions. Though based in Cambridgeshire he is happy to play at events anywhere in the UK.
